Dyslexia County Connection
Dyslexia Symposium

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

Dyslexia is recognized as one of the most common reading disabilities.  With early identification, remediation and accommodations there is hope for many students to become independent and confident readers.  Join us in recognizing the social and emotional effects of this reading disability, ways to support them in the general education classroom as well as offer specific strategies in therapy sessions to accelerate their engagement and outcomes.  We will explore related disorders as well as how to differentiate for ELL’s and students that are twice exceptional.  We look forward to serving your communities, teachers and students.

Participants not with public/charter school or out of region fee is $150.00.

Approved for 6 clock hours ALTA CEU.
