The seven strands of the essential knowledge and skills for English language arts and reading adopted in 2017 are intended to be integrated for instructional purposes.
Curriculum support staff
will explore the seven strands of the new ELAR TEKS, targeting academic vocabulary, the interconnected nature of strands and SEs. Session activities will focus on connections between curriculum, and classroom instruction. - Please bring an electronic device.
