This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.
Discipline in music is only for developing skills not correcting misbehavior. Learn how to manage student movement, routines and interactions by observing Region 10 Master Elementary Music Teacher, Ms. Jessica Shindle. Participants will meet at Handley Elementary School in Garland ISD, an ACE campus, and observe two of Ms. Shindle’s elementary music classes. Post observation, attendees will have Q&A with Ms. Shindle, reflect on their learning and make a plan to implement it with their students.
