Elementary PE
Using Physical Activity and Social Emotional Learning to Reach the Whole Child

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

Engage students in Social/Emotional Learning (SEL) through physical activity in elementary school in order to reach the whole child. This session is designed for elementary PE teachers, but we welcome SEL instructors, counselors, and teams of teachers who would like activities for groups that help build grit, social skills, and the ability to handle different situations. It will be an experiential session with active participation in activities that build social and emotional skills in students – skills that last a life-time and will help them overcome obstacles in life with the grit and character skills needed for success.

Please dress very comfortably. (Note: You will not be expected to engage in activities beyond any physical limitations, so no worries!)
