This session, provided by Innovative Learning Concepts, will include training in learning modalities as it relates to counting, skip counting, patterns, addition, and subtraction. Also discussed will be best practices for the classroom as well as the brain research behind Touch Math. The Touch Math system will help you reach different types of learners to build strong math skills. You do NOT need to own Touch Math kits in order to benefit from the training and implement the strategies in your classroom.
This training is appropriate for special education resource or life skills teachers who serve students withfunctionallevels K-4thgrade in math (regardless of grade level).
FEE: There is no fee for this session for participants associated with Region 10. However, Out-of-Region participants will be charged $125 per day for the session.
