The young man sitting in the back of the room with his head down and not turning in his work. The young lady who is too busy trying to text with her friends that she didn't catch what you were saying in the lesson. They just don't seem to care. Or do they? Perhaps they don't see why they need to learn what your are teaching. How can you engage and create an energy that draws them into the classroom. We will explore some ideas and strategies that are brain engaging and culturally reflective.
