What is Balanced Literacy? We hear about it but do we know exactly what it means? In this three part, three day series, participants will gain a better understanding of Balanced Literacy as well as create lessons to implement within the Literacy Block. Day 1 of 3 will focus on Whole Group instruction and will include mini-lessons for reading strategies as well as using interactive read-alouds and shared reading to provide authentic experiences in reading.
