Important Session Information:


Data shows that students with visual impairments struggle with obesity and sedentary lives. As a result, their health and quality of life suffers. This has a significant impact on their self-esteem and mental health and also greatly impacts their ability to gain employment later in life. Attendees of this session will learn the importance of movement activities and gain knowledge on how they can develop a life plan for their students that increases movement and exercise. Subject matter experts in the areas of APE and Visual Impairment will guide the conversation.
