SLP Master's Program - Distance Venue Cycle Information Meetings
Cycle 12 Information Meeting




This information meeting is specifically for individuals interested in pursuing their master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Registrants will learn general information as well as detailed specific criteria required for the application process. The SLP Distance Venue’s purpose is to decrease the shortages of SLP's in the public schools, therefore, participants attending this informational meeting must understand that this particular program's focus is to ameliorate the shortages of SLPs in the schools of Texas. Attendees interested in seeking post-baccalaureate certificates in Bilingual SLP, Deaf and Hard of Hearing for SLPs, and Multicultural and Diversity Studies for SLPs, in addition to their master's degree will have an opportunity to learn more about these certificate requirements.

Pursuing a master's degree in speech-language pathology requires individuals who do not already have a bachelor's degree in the field to take "leveling" course work. This information will also be discussed in detail.

Participants interested in applying to the SLP Master's Degree Program - Statewide Distance Venue - Cycle 12, MUST attend one full information meeting. Cycle 12 begins in 2023 and runs through 2025.
