EISO - Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes (SB-1566)
Winter School Board Training

SB 1566 requires that all school board members be trained in Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes (EISO).  This workshop will provide a look at how progress monitoring, accountability, and implementation, on the part of a school board, make a difference in student outcomes.  This will be a three-hour training that is required to meet the new Level IV mandated training for school board members.

New trustees must complete the training within 120 days of their election or appointment to the board.

Existing trustees must complete a training in EISO every two years.  A Board of Trustees may receive credit for Team of Eight and SB 1566 training if all seven board members and the superintendent of an ISD attend and participate in the training together.

If you are a school board trustee for a Region 10 District that has purchased the Administrative Services Package, you are eligible to attend at no charge.  For all other participants there is a $75 registration fee due when registering.
