Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Expedition is a four session strand specifically designed to meet the unique needs of teachers and instructional specialists that serve ECSE students. During these sessions, we will address the following topics:
Session 1: The Texas Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines, Early Childhood Outcomes, & Classroom Environment
Session 2: Thematic Centers to Meet the Needs of Diverse Learners
Session 3: Challenging Behavior Part 1 & IEP Development
Session 4: Challenging Behavior Part 2 & Putting It All Together
The participants will gain a variety of strategies, activities, and resources that can be immediately used in the classroom. Whether you are new to serving ECSE students, need a refresher, a new perspective, or just some new ideas, please join us as we embark on an expedition through the world of Early Childhood Special Education where adventure awaits!
All sessions are free to all Region 10 Public Schools.
You must attend all sessions to receive credit.
There are two price tiers for this event. Discounts will be reflected at checkout.
- Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration
- Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $500 (for all sessions)
