Achievement Through Differentiation & Scaffolding

Participants will explore ideas that contribute to an increased understanding of academic rigor.

**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**

This is a secondary Advanced Academics session, offered as part of Region 10's Instructional Practices and focused on opportunities for all students. Participants may earn one CPE hour.

Academic rigor involves supporting students as they become increasingly able to think critically and independently. Participants in this one hour Zoom session will explore how instructional scaffolding and easy-to-implement differentiated opportunities can increase the capacity for academic rigor. This session is designed for secondary teachers and will be co-presented by ELAR, Social Studies, Science, and Math consultants. After an overview of information, participants will break into content-specific groups to apply concepts to secondary TEKS.
