Write On in Pre-K
Summer 2021

Young children learn to write as they engage in meaningful writing experiences. Teachers of Pre-K students guide their students through writing experiences and discuss and model the many purposes of writing. Join us for this virtual, blended professional development experience where participants will examine the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines Emergent Literacy - Writing Domain and engaging fine motor practices. Participants will attend and collaborate with other educators over a one-hour live webinar and receive the instructions to complete a two-hour, self-paced application learning module. Note: To receive three hours of professional development credit, it is necessary to attend the live webinar and submit the specified, electronic proof of self-paced learning.
