Differentiating and Adapting Books for Young Children with Disabilities

Important Session Information:


Adapted books make playful peer learning tools and can be supportive for little ones learning to speak and/or communicate in English. Session participants observe and increase their literacy differentiation skills by making some beginning typical book adaptations in a fun make-n-take format. Presentation includes concepts and standards behind use of assistive technology (AT) allowing for access to the general curriculum within inclusive classrooms.

THIS IS AN ONSITE TRAINING AT REGION 10 - ABRAMS ROAD FACILITY

  Please Note: visitors to the ESC are expected to wear facial coverings when entering the building and moving around common areas.  You can remove the coverings when you are seated and able to maintain 6 feet social distancing.
