Visible Thinking Routines for the Reading Language Arts Classroom

When thinking is made visible, learners are able to showcase their processing and/or understanding actively. As a result, learning successes and obstacles are made evident, and teachers are able to ensure mastery for all students. Are you ready to learn how to create more opportunities that allow students to demonstrate their thinking and monitor their own understanding? Participants in this session will analyze and create purposeful instructional routines that promote visible thinking while assessing and reflecting on learning before, during, and after instruction.
