Leadership meetings are open to personnel who have been nominated by their Sp Ed Director. There is no fee for this session for participants associated with Region 10. LEAP meetings are closed to out of region personnel.
This training will be held via Zoom.
Dr. Gail Cheramie will review the various methods of SLD identification and considerations LEA’s should give when evaluating which ones will be practiced by their LEA. (A published resource with graphs and descriptions of the various methods will be shared with each LEA who participates in the session). Additionally, she will provide opportunity for FAQ by lead evaluators as they seek to provide answers and guidance to their teams when applying the DDC model of SLD identification.
