Academic Rigor
Achievement Through Differentiation & Scaffolding




In this asynchronous virtual learning experience, participants will explore ides that contribute to an increased understanding of academic rigor.

**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**

Academic rigor involves supporting students as they become increasingly able to think critically and independently. Participants in this one hour Zoom session will explore how instructional scaffolding and easy-to-implement differentiated opportunities can increase the capacity for academic rigor. This session is designed for secondary teachers and will be co-presented by ELAR, Social Studies, Science, and Math consultants. After an overview of information, participants will break into content-specific groups to apply concepts to secondary TEKS.

All participants registered on the Region 10 website will receive Zoom login information prior to the webinar date.
