Appraisal Calibration
Asynchronous Appraisal Calibration Self-Paced Course

With the addition of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and the specification of Success Factor One: Strongly Calibrated Teacher Observation System, Region 10 has created an asynchronous course to promote appraiser calibration. While this course is aligned with the TIA success factors, it also concentrates on appraiser calibration best practices that could be used by any district. The course takes participants through three parts:

  • Part 1: Calibration
  • Part 2: Inter-rater Reliability with built in practice
  • Part 3: Calibration data analysis

The course is designed to provide information and allow for intentional practice that can be duplicated as a systematic process going forward.

Important Session Information:

For Administrators in a Region 10 District/Charter or Private school that has purchased the Region 10 Administrative Services Package there is no registration fee.  For all other participants a $250 registration fee applies.
