The Early Childhood Childcare Cohort is specifically designed to meet the needs of teachers and directors in an early childhood childcare setting (ECE). The Early Childhood Cohort is a series of six synchronous/asynchronous sessions. Each 1.5 hour synchronous session will be followed by a two-hour, self-paced, asynchronous requirement. Upon completion of all cohort sessions and asynchronous work, participants will receive 21 hours of professional development credit, which includes mentoring hours. Best practices that promote kindergarten readiness will be addressed. Additionally, specific strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners will also be explored and discussed. Please note: Attendance to all sessions in the series is required for full credit.
