TEKS Resource System Math K-12 Vertical Planning: Filling the GAPS

The difficulty in math is not that some people get it and some people don't. It's not that there's so much to memorize. It's that math is relentlessly sequential. During this session, participants will explore and use TRS components: YAG, ETCD, TVD, VAD, IFD to help determine potential gaps and how to support filling the Gaps. Participants will also learn how to create formative assessments in TRS which can be used to see what skills need to be covered before proceeding with planning and instruction. This 3 hour session will include whole group and independent work time. All participants must complete an assigned activity during the session to receive the 3 hours credit.
