Fine Arts
Ensemble Skills, What Works

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

The Coppell HS Wind Symphony and the Coppell MS West Honor Winds will present a clinic focused on daily drills that can be implemented with any ensemble as they prepare for UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation. Directors will be given ensemble skills and warm-up handouts that are used daily in the Coppell programs, along with a method to bring the ensemble skills into literature quickly and efficiently by encouraging common systems and structures across campus within an instructional cluster.

This event will be facilitated by Gerry Miller (Coppell HS), Greg McCutcheon (Coppell MS-West),

Jon Alstrin (Prosper ISD).
