Creating a Culture of Digital Citizenship

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

In this session, join Common Sense to learn about three elements necessary to create a positive culture around digital citizenship. First, learn how to teach students digital citizenship skills, covering six key topics. Second, learn how to engage parents around managing their children’s technology use and helping kids make smart choices, including how to host a successful parent night, sharing helpful tips and advice, parent communication ideas, and more. Finally, hear practical next steps to build the capacity of your staff to integrate digital citizenship instruction and community-based activities into your school’s teaching and learning framework.
