Substitute Teacher Training

This course will prepare prospective substitute teachers for the challenges of the classroom. Its goals are to ensure a safe environment for children, provide continuity of learning, and prepare substitute teachers to seamlessly provide quality instruction while a teacher is absent. This six-hour course provides training in instructional techniques, classroom and behavior management strategies and focuses on the skills needed for a substitute teacher to succeed in the classroom.
