Developing a positive classroom environment and promoting social and emotional skills for young learners are critical for future school success and kindergarten readiness. In this session, participants will learn strategies to support all children in their classroom, develop social and emotional skills and recognize the benefits of building social and emotional competence on reducing challenging behaviors. Participants will explore strategies from the Pyramid Model and how to implement those in their early childhood classroom. Join us to take the challenge out of challenging behaviors.
* This session is free to all Districts/ Charter Schools/Private Schools and who have joined the Region 10 Early Childhood Services and Prekindergarten Cooperative. All non-Region 10 participants will pay $150.00 per person for this event.
