Library Connections
Support for the Early Childhood Classroom

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

Due to extremely low enrollment this workshop has been cancelled.

The time between birth and kindergarten is very important for intellectual, language, physical, social, and emotional development of children. The early years—for most children before age eight—provide the foundation for academic and social success.  The school library is the perfect environment for our youngest learners to explore books, digital resources, and spaces.  This session for librarians and other educators of early childhood students, will cover current titles, strategies, and activities that are aligned with Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.
